A hot few days in Maryborough but a great few days on the bikes with good people. Here’s my favourourites from the trip. if you see your bike in here or want to know if I have some shots of your bike just email me and I can hook you up.
The first of hopefully many, the Summer Monkey is based off of the popular winter Brass Monkey rally that we do but in summer! So that you can enjoy the amazing roads out this way even more.
I always wanted my own photo studio at my place, so over the winter months I chipped away at converting (most) of my garage into just that! A place where I can shoot anything I wanted, primarily I wanted to shoot motorcycles on white background as I’ve never done it and felt like it would be nice way to shoot them, keeping all the focus on the bikes themselves. At first I was shitty about having all the tyre marks over the freshly painted white floor but after shooting the first bike I liked how they were in there giving it a more organic look instead of removing them all in post.
First up is my 1983 Shovelhead, this was the first Harley I bought from a long time family friend. My dad and I fixed it up and got it running but after a few years I didn’t ride it that much after I built my second Harleybecause I didn’t like how it looked compared to the 2nd build. So I spoke to my old man and we worked on a plan to make some changes to the Shovel so that I was stoked on it every time I looked at it (which I am!).
Another year, another great rally based out of Chiltern, Victoria. Close to 70 bikes this year which made it one of the biggest ones I’ve seen and with a great assortment of good looking bikes.
New Hard Yards video just went live! This video takes an insane amount of time to cut together but I do enjoy making them. Massive thanks to Troy and Adam for helping film this and Wayne for shooting photos.
Another before/after house documentation. The original 2 photos were shot back in June 2020 and the new one just a few days ago…
I’ve been shooting before and after photos of houses for years but haven’t posted many of them and some take years to get to the “after” photo. I first shot this old car yard back in January 2020 and the after photo was shot only a couple days ago…
