I just got back from another great motorcycle rally, this time based out of Alexandra, Victoria. This rally is always cold but the good roads make it well worth it.

It’s been a year since the last motorcycle rally i’ve been on due to Covid but it was awesome to be back on the bike and shooting. I forgot how enjoyable it is to shoot these trips.

Shot with my Sony A7s with a 50mm/1.4 and my GoPro Hero7 Black for the riding images taken whilst mounted to my bike shooting in timelapse mode every 2 seconds. The GoPro shot about 8,000 photos and I think I pulled about 15 images from that, well worth the time sorting through them.

I’ve always wanted to document some vintage bikes at night with flashes trying to really highlight the bike itself and nothing else. First up is a fully restored 1938 Harley Davidson Knucklehead.
