I don’t remember what sparked this project but I really like the idea of documenting something like a house before and after it goes through a change. In this day and age it seems every second house is getting demolished and 3 units go up. So for a few years now I’ve been documenting houses I come across that I think will get flattened at some stage and then shoot the house again after it goes through the change.
This house went down and back up pretty quick, 6 months in between photos – Kilsyth
This next house was actually the very first house I shot when I had the idea, it was 2 years and a half years in between images – Croydon South
I was actually surprised when this house was fenced up, it din’t look that bad but I guess the price was right. It’s actually pretty much opposite the first house I posted, just a few years different – Croydon South
The coldest rally of the year is always The Brass Monkey, thankfully we got some great weather all weekend along with a large turnout. I shot a bunch of photos I am stoked on…
I’ve been waiting for this place to close down officially for a few years now and it recently did. So I got out there early and shot some photos of the park. If it stays un-developed for a few months I might try and shoot some more after some time has passed.
A new video I just finished up for Colony and my good friend Paterico Fallico. This was basically all filmed around Brisbane during a few trips I made up there in the past couple months…
I made this video last week going through the processes of how I edit a BMX video with the hopes of it helping others learning video editing. Hopefully it helps some of you out there, always happy to answer any questions as well.
I just got back from another great motorcycle rally, this time based out of Alexandra, Victoria. This rally is always cold but the good roads make it well worth it.
It’s been a year since the last motorcycle rally i’ve been on due to Covid but it was awesome to be back on the bike and shooting. I forgot how enjoyable it is to shoot these trips.
Shot with my Sony A7s with a 50mm/1.4 and my GoPro Hero7 Black for the riding images taken whilst mounted to my bike shooting in timelapse mode every 2 seconds. The GoPro shot about 8,000 photos and I think I pulled about 15 images from that, well worth the time sorting through them.
